L'odore assordante del bianco

A psychological thriller by Stefano Massini, winner of the 2005 Tondelli Prize. The play explores Vincent van Gogh’s madness and art during his confinement. It sets out to examine the boundary between madness and sanity, suggesting that the truly sick might be the system that seeks to correct diversity rather than accept it. In this sense, the idea – by bringing the concept up to date – is to draw a parallel with what discrimination means to us today.
