Beppe Braida. Piano B

29/10/2026

Have you ever noticed that we’ve all gone mad since Covid?!: a question that becomes a statement, kicking off over an hour and a half of non-stop laughter, in a show co-written by Beppe Braida and Raffaele Skizzo Bruscella. Braida doesn’t simply break the fourth wall separating the performer from the audience; he disregards it from the very first lines of the show, moving amongst the audience and making them co-stars, with constant engagement from the front rows right to the back. Each performance thus becomes unique, transforming into a hilarious debate with the audience as they explore together the doubts, perplexities, vices and few virtues of a society now adrift. From male-female relationships to the use of technology across different generations, from the habits of the youngest to the fear of ageing, via the everyday neuroses from North to South: the comic sketches presented are a true reflection of everyone’s lives, and it is precisely this sense of identification that provokes laughter and light-heartedness, creating a pleasant moment to share with friends or family. The news programme parody returns with the cry of ‘Attentato!’, a catchphrase from the 2000s. Because – as the artist explains – the Prime Minister has changed, the political parties have transformed and new figures have emerged in Italian politics, yet the way communication is conducted has not changed at all.
