Re-Resistance. Ester Valabrega, un archivio possibile

The Turin State Archives is hosting the exhibition ‘Re-Resistance. Ester Valabrega, a possible archive’, dedicated to the partisan and anti-fascist Ester Valabrega. Through photographs, memoirs and original documents, the exhibition reconstructs Ester’s story – which for a long time remained on the margins of the collective memory of the Resistance – and invites visitors to reflect on the role of women in the partisan struggle and on the processes by which memory is constructed. Also on display are original documents from Sandro Delmastro’s military file, held at the Archive itself.
