Feel the Street is an event dedicated to urban creativity and street arts, designed for the whole family but with a particular focus on young people: over two weekends, the town centre will be transformed into a dynamic and engaging space where music, movement and art will come together to create a unique experience. The most representative forms of contemporary urban culture – from breakdancing to street art, from hip-hop beats to urban sports – will come together on a genuine open-air stage where participants can unleash their energy, talent and creativity. The dedicated area, covering over one hundred square metres, will be set up under the covered canopy at the centre’s entrance – to ensure the event can go ahead even in bad weather – and will be cordoned off to guarantee maximum safety for participants. On 12 and 13 September, the focus will be on parkour; on 26 and 27 September, on skateboarding. An engaging graffiti workshop will also be running every day. There will also be a wide range of topics covered with the young people, alongside the instructors, such as interpersonal relationships and healthy habits.
