The students and teachers of the 29th International Chamber Music Course for Young String Players bring the Encounters with Chamber Music series to life. A wonderful opportunity to hear musicians of recognised international standing and to be swept up by the enthusiasm and talent of the young musicians who come to Pracatinat every year from across Europe - and beyond - to take part in this important cultural event. As is traditional, the concerts take place in some of the most picturesque spots in the Chisone Valley: the Fort and the village of Fenestrelle, and the woods of Pracatinat. The 2026 festival is organised by the Associazione Ensemble Xenia, under the patronage of Comune di Fenestrelle, with the support of Regione Piemonte and the Fondazione CRT, and in close collaboration with Pracatinat Hotel and Restaurant, Progetto San Carlo – Association for the Cultural and Historical Restoration of Forte Fenestrelle and l'Associazione Culturale Libero.
