The Fenestrelle Fortress is hosting the latest edition of the Alta Fragilità festival. The central theme for 2026 is hydrogeological instability and the protection of our Alpine territory, explored from different perspectives but united by a single goal: to understand and protect the Highlands. The programme blends popular science with art. The scientific programme opens with a lecture by Professor Stefano Fenoglio on the memory of water, before giving way to the emotional power of the vertical dance performance Aria and the sonic journey of the concert by Yo Yo Mundi and Lastanzadigreta. The series of events will conclude with a session dedicated to the solar eclipse, led by Professor Enrico Moriondo. Furthermore, from 26 July until the end of August, visitors will be able to view Scraps World, an exhibition of circular art by Raffaele Cornaggia created from recycled mechanical and electronic waste, enriched for the occasion by a dendrochronology exhibition.
