Moon Festival transforms San Raffaele Alto’s village into an immersive experience, in which every viewer becomes part of a world suspended between reality and imagination. Streets, courtyards and squares hosts circus, theatre, dance, puppetry, performance and puppet theatre shows, as well as interactive experiences: the village is filled with lights and installations, the castle is completely illuminated. Several families of residents of the village host the artists in their homes, some of whom are foreigners, helping to create a particularly familiar atmosphere, and relationships that continue from year to year. Sustainability is promoted through the 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. To access the village, vehicle traffic is prohibited and a non-stop shuttle service is organized.
