Torino-Togliatti 1966-2025. Uno stabilimento grande subito

The exhibition weaves together two narrative layers. On one side, the historical documentation preserved in the archives of the Centro Storico Fiat - photographs, administrative records, technical reports, telegrams, drawings, and correspondence - reconstructs the political, industrial, and human context surrounding the creation of the AutoVAZ plant and the city of Togliatti. On the other, the contributions of Giovanna Silva and Claudio Giunta revisit this story more than half a century later, exploring the traces it has left behind in the urban landscape, architecture, personal memories, and the documents themselves. The result is a layered narrative in which archival material serves not only as historical evidence, but also as a tool for interpretation, creating a dialogue between past and present.
