To celebrate the Feast of St John, an unforgettable evening in the prestigious setting of the Lingotto’s Pista 500: Roero DOCG meets Turin, an event dedicated to the tasting and promotion of Roero DOCG wines. On one of the city’s most beautiful panoramic terraces, caressed by the summer warmth and illuminated by the starry June sky, various themed stations will be set up to guide guests on a journey of discovery through the finest wines of our region. Sip by sip, the public will be able to immerse themselves in the freshness of Roero Arneis, discover the more complex nuances of Roero Arneis Riserva, or be captivated by the elegance of the Nebbiolo grape, the key ingredient of Roero, a wine capable of expressing great finesse yet, at the same time, depth and structure in its Riserva version. An exceptional selection of 110 labels, categorised by type, featuring leading wineries: visitors can choose between two packages, offering five or ten tastings. For one evening, the air will be filled not only with the scent of the aromatic herbs in the roof garden but also with the delicious street food dishes cooked right on the runway, to be enjoyed in the company of family or friends. Meanwhile, the venue will gradually transform into an open-air dance floor, awaiting the St John's fireworks.
