A three-day international event that shines a spotlight on the most pressing issues of our time relating to the theme of housing. Inspired by a famous question posed by designer Ettore Sottsass – ‘Who will live in the empty houses?’ – this edition of the Architecture Festival explores the major socio-economic transformations currently taking place, interpreting the ‘emptiness’ of unused buildings as an extraordinary opportunity for design and culture. A multidisciplinary and inclusive programme, designed for both professionals and architects as well as the general public, to reimagine the future of urban spaces. A Festival that looks to the future with the aim of making a strategic contribution to Turin’s bid to become European Capital of Culture 2033. Photo credits: Daniele Ratti.
