Rivelazioni e confronti tra i nostri tesori

17/06/2026 - 08/11/2026

Until 8 November 2026, a precious 17th-century painting by Sassoferrato will be the star attraction of this exhibition, displayed alongside another significant work by the same artist, owned by the Albertina. This offers a new opportunity to showcase the great historical and artistic heritage of the Academy of Fine Arts, which is simultaneously unveiling the results of significant new restorations to the public, exhibiting paintings and drawings that are usually inaccessible. Among these are a rare painting by Gandini del Grano, a leading figure in Parma’s painting scene in the early 16th century, as well as the extremely valuable 17th-century drawings by Nicolas Lagneau, a gift from King Carlo Alberto to his Academy, and an interesting discovery in 20th-century painting featuring Enrico Thovez.
