Ten individual contemporary circus projects in a cabaret-style format, featuring young international artists from the world’s leading circus academies, selected from over 70 applications. Cabaret FEDEC is born out of the collaboration between Accademia Cirko Vertigo and FEDEC to shine a spotlight on emerging contemporary circus talents within the international network. The selected artists - graduates or recent alumni of prestigious international schools such as ESAC-Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels, Fontys Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg, Académie Fratellini in France, the National Institute of Circus Arts in Australia, SKH-Stockholm University of the Arts in Stockholm, and Flic in Torino - will present short acts over two consecutive weekends.
