The Italian Army is offering a careers guidance session aimed at younger people. At the information point, representatives from the Piedmont Army Command will explain the career opportunities available to those interested: on the one hand, the Officer pathway, which involves a five-year university course, with a choice of specialisations in Strategic Studies, Engineering and Medicine; on the other hand, the NCO path, which involves a three-year course specialising in Political Science; or starting as a VFI, i.e. a volunteer on an initial three-year contract with the Army. On display at the centre will be one of the new VTML Lince tactical vehicles, a vehicle used in all international theatres of operation, primarily for escort duties and logistical support.
