Werner Jeker (Switzerland, 1944) is a unique figure on the international scene of graphic design applied to photography, and the exhibition that CAMERA Torino is dedicating to him marks a world premiere. Jeker is, in fact, regarded as one of the finest graphic designers specialising in poster design of his generation: the perfect balance he achieves between photography and typography is unrivalled, and his visual language transcends mere advertising to establish itself as a genuine work of graphic art.
