Costumi Tradizionali delle Genti Alpine

06/06/2026 - 07/06/2026

The CITP – Pinerolo Regional Interpretation Centre in Pinerolo is hosting the exhibition ‘Traditional Costumes of the Alpine Peoples’, featuring the doll collection from the ‘Ezio Giaj’ Pinerolo Civic Ethnographic Museum. The exhibition presents a fine selection of dolls dressed in the traditional costumes of various regions across the Alps, stretching from the south of France through parts of Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, up to the highlands of the Swiss, Austrian and German mountains, including a doll in the Traunstein costume —twinned with the City of Pinerolo since 1986—and other Italian valleys such as Val Gardena.
