Giro d’Italia Women 2026 - Pian dell'Alpe, Balboutet e Pourrieres

The Rivoli–Sestriere stage, the queen stage of the 2026 Giro d’Italia Women, covers 105 km across flat terrain and high mountains, on both tarmac and gravel. For the first time in history, the riders will tackle the Colle delle Finestre, one of the most iconic and feared climbs in Italian cycling, also designated as Cima Alfonsina Strada (2,178 m), the highest point of the Giro dedicated to the first woman to take part in the men’s Giro.  A special opportunity to experience top-class cycling up close and showcase our region. After the descent towards Pian dell’Alpe, the race will pass through Balboutet and Pourrières, in Val Chisone, before the final climb to the 2,035-metre Colle del Sestriere.
