Ethical and mindful nature photography takes centre stage in the exhibition Beyond the snapshot at the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences in Torino. Photographs, scientific data and educational materials come together to encourage reflection on the relationship between images, the protection of biodiversity and nature conservation. An exhibition that serves as a journey combining public engagement, research and education, involving park rangers, researchers and experts, and promoting a mindful and respectful way of portraying the natural world. The star of the exhibition is Marco Colombo, a multi-award-winning photographer from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, science communicator and consultant for GEO on Rai3. The event is organised by the Gran Paradiso National Park and Bard Fortress. .
