An afternoon dedicated to exploring the female experience through two different yet complementary forms of expression. The event opens with a presentation of Debora Bocchiardo’s novel *Invisibile*. Set in Turin in 1919, the book spans years marked by war and social upheaval, offering a glimpse into the hardships and changes in women’s circumstances. This is followed by the lecture ‘Anna Magnani: the face of Italian Neorealism’, a journey through images and anecdotes that traces the life of the actress, a symbol of an era and a leading figure in a pivotal period of Italian cinema. The event will be hosted by Debora Bocchiardo herself. The initiative forms part of the cultural programme promoted by the D.I.V.A. OdV Association, which is committed to providing opportunities for in-depth exploration and discussion of the female experience, fostering moments of participation and connection.
