Presentation of the commemorative book marking 10 years of walks through the Cenischia, Susa and Sangone valleys, edited by Marco Rey and Flavio Giacchero.At the heart of the project lies the encounter between the villages: the song of oral tradition becomes the unifying and connecting element that binds the participants’ steps along the trails. On this journey, the Franco-Provençal language is not merely a memory but a living reality, which has found in the regulations for the protection of linguistic minorities the fundamental support needed to be preserved and promoted as a mother tongue.
