Enrico Berlinguer was one of the leading figures in 20th-century politics. He was secretary of the Italian Communist Party from 1972 to 1984, and before that a member and leader of his party. He was a leader of rare moral calibre, deeply rooted in the country and respected by his opponents. On the centenary of his birth and 40 years after his death, the aim of the exhibition is to help revive Enrico Berlinguer's political legacy by retracing his biography through original audiovisual, audio and photographic materials and archival documents.
