Ingredients

carrot
800 gr
potatoes
500 g
green beans

green kale

1 kg
spare ribs

mini salami
200 gr
streaky bacon
1 dl
water
100 gr
butter
q.s.
salt

Wash all the vegetables and cut them into large pieces.

Arrange the pieces in layers in a pot, adding a small amount of salt. Last of all, place the ribs, salami and slices of bacon on top. Cover with flakes of butter, add water and cover with a heavy lid. Place on the hob or over an open fire. Leave it to cook slowly for approximately two hours without stirring, simply jolting the pot every now and then instead. When the dish is ready, pour the food into a serving plate and serve immediately whilst still piping hot.

Cuchela is usually served on its own as a main dish.
