macaroons

butter

Peel and slice the apples, then cook them and sieve them. Add the crushed macaroons, cocoa, beaten eggs, sugar, grated lemon zest and a pinch of grated nutmeg to the apples. Cook in a buttered baking tin with a few flakes of butter on the surface.

Bake in a moderate oven.
