In Valle Maira there is a curious path. The name of this path is, “Sentiero dei Giganti”, ("The Path of the Giants"), with this name one comes to think of the men described in so many myths, high, powerful and with extraordinary forces.
The path runs for over 10 km with a semicircular shape through the valleys of Intersile and of Tibert, its name is actually due to the presence of a forest with century-old larches, which have been kept intact over the centuries, from which one can see the evolution of this remarkable tree species.
The path is also fascinating because there are a series of historical buildings and the wet area of Naj del charbou, which is the original well where the hemp maceration occurred upstream of the Borgata Combe .
The circular path starts from Borgata Combe, continues on to Borgata Ugo Soprano, Ramei, Albornetto Sottano, Rio and then returns to Borgata Combe.
