Wandering in the rooms of the Palazzina di Stupinigi it is possible, with a sharp sight, to come across curious ornaments. The walls, the vaults, the windows are a huge catalogue of animal and plant species. In almost every room you can find, in fact, rare flowers and bizarre animals. Very common are the peonies, considered in remote times precious for their rarity, and roses of the chinensis variety, imported from China. Elsewhere seashells, corals, hoopoes, cardinals, parrots and partridges appear in addition to tulips, aconite flowers and thousands other plants that are always source of awe and wonder. A curiosity: in the Game Room, you can admire several portraits of lemurs, African animals that are said to be having been bred by Carlo Emanuele in a small private zoo.
