The lucky bull

Even though it is believed that the people of Torino (Turin) have a nature that is disinclined to superstition, and that the citizens do not easily show their emotions, but even in Torino (Turin) there are some superstitious beliefs.

One of the most important beliefs takes place in the elegant Piazza San Carlo, a real living room of the city of Savoy. Under the porticos (arcades) of the streets, in front of the Caffè Torino, there is a golden bas-relief of a figure of a Taurus. The image is a symbol of the city, which was built in 1930 and, according to the legend, trampling on the lower part would bring good luck.

The next time you are walking around this area, it would be worth it to try and see if the ritual really works.
