GLI OCCHI DEL DIAVOLO

It is well known that the streets of Turin are littered with many mysteries related to the world of magic and Freemasonry.

At via Lascaris, for example, at the corner with Via San Francesco d'Assisi, a short walk from Piazza Solferino, is a building on whose outer perimeter some slits in the shape of eyes were made.

Given their strange and eerie shape, for some time there has been a belief that these slits are even the eyes of the devil.

In fact, itseems more likely that such openings were constructed for the purpose of serving as venting and lighting points for the underground rooms, but it is also true that their shape appears really extravagant …

Whether you believe this urban legend or not, a visit to the Devil's Eyes is well worth it.
