SANTUARIO MADONNA DELLE GRAZIE

The Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie rises adjacent to the celebrated Chiesa di San Maurizio, already mentioned in 1078, and which is in possession of the last clothes worn by the eight princes of Acaja and Savoia in the apsis. It is the replacement for a very small chapel which was reconstructed in 1584 in its current form. The facade faces in the other direction compared to the church, opening up with what is practically a terrace on the front side with a view over the Pinerolese plains and of the Rocca di Cavour, as well as the Alps. There is an uninterrupted line of ex-votos along the inner walls of the church, which testifies for the devotion but also, in certain cases, veers towards true works of art.
