CHIESA DI SANTA CROCE

The facade designed by Filippo Juvarra was completed in the second half of the 19th century while, on the inside, the main altar was decorated by a great deposition by Beaumont, dated 1731. The church was constructed according to designs attributed to Filippo Juvarra and it was erected for the Augustinian Nuns. The facade, which was also designed by Juvarrra, was only completed during the second half of the 19th century. It is currently closed to the public for restoration work.
