CHIESA DI SAN NAZARIO

This Romanesque countryside church, which once belonged to Castello di Mairano, dates from the 11th century but was heavily altered in the mid-19th century. It still has elegant decorations at the windows and at the doorways, as well as at the semi-circular apsis. he tall bell-tower offers an interesting colour effect, due to the alternate use of bricks and sandstone. It is part of the Asti area Romanesque churches, which is a heritage of utmost prestige and importance for the Regione.
