CHIESA DELLA SS. TRINITA'

Built in 1626 by the Confraternita della SS. Trinita, today the church has a façade by the architect Nicola Mosso from 1956. The wooden altar is very beautiful, richly filled with figures done by Giovanni Antonio Vaglio di Pettinengo between 1682 and 1684 with the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary, wearing a crown, in the center and, on the sides, between elegant spiral columns, the four cardinal virtues from the three theological virtues. The altarpiece showing the crowning of the Virgin Mary and the frescos on the choir with scenes from the Childhood of Christ are attributed to Anselmo Allasina (17th century). The frescos on the sides of the presbytery attributed to Vincenzo Costantino are from a later period.
