The Monte Chaberton Association is organizing this event and invites you to Cesana Torinese SATURDAY, June 20 – Cesana Torinese10:30 a.m.: Gathering at the Cesana Torinese Town Hall, parade through the town streets, and ceremony (flag-raising, honors to the fallen, and speeches) at the Chaberton War Memorial, in the presence of the highest civil and military authorities. Following this, the procession will proceed to the municipal cemetery for the laying of a wreath by the “Veterani 40^ Batteria Susa D’Fer” Association2:00 PM: Guided tours of the permanent exhibition in Bardonecchia at the Palazzo delle Feste SUNDAY, June 21 – Chaberton Summit Commemoration at the summit (due to heavy snow, the decision regarding the ascent will be communicated on the association’s social media channels closer to the date). 7:00 AM (Monginevro): Meeting at the trailhead for a delegation of Italian and French reenactors who will make the ascent to Chaberton 11:30 AM (Summit): Historical commemoration.
