Museo dei Campionissimi is a museum dedicated to cycling and particularly to Fausto Coppi and Costante Girardengo, who lived most of their lives in the town of Novi Ligure. The museum has been set up in an industrial shed built at the beginning of the 20th century close to the town centre. In Mauro Porta's evocative setting, the museum is characterised by a special central track that divides and organises the exhibition space, but, above all, represents the evolution of the road surfaces.

The large rooms next to the track are home to an ideal history of the Milano-Sanremo race, featuring images and pages from newspapers (Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport). At the back of the central hall there is a curious exhibition of bicycles related to trades. The Sala dei Campionissimi, dedicated to the memory of the two cyclists, is full of mementoes and unpublished testimonies of their glory and their daily life. The audio-visual rooms present original films, visual and audio testimonies of spectacular arrivals or epochal duels, while four multimedia totems provide the first level of insight and personalisation of the visit.

The atrium on the ground floor serves as a service area for visitors, with ticket desks, the library, the Museum Shop area, the reading area and a room dedicated to bicycles available to visitors.

The museum hosts temporary exhibitions.
