Teatro Alfieri di Asti
Designed by Domenico Svanascini, the Alfieri was destined to replace the Teatro Vecchio, demolished following the construction of this grand structure. Opened in 1860, the new theatre fulfilled the functions of Civic Theatre for over a century.
