Giuliana Barattero started her ceramist activities at the age of 16. In 1979 she started to attend ceramics courses privately and started out on an independent path of research into the ancient monregalese ceramic tradition. In 1991 she opened her own workshop in Vicoforte, where she operated until 2001 before moving to Mondovi, where she still works and manages her artisan workshop with great passion. Over the years she has perfected her technique while continuing the research and study of the “Old Mondovi”, collaborating with several organisations and schools.
