Arte del Rovere Antico was established in 1978 from a happy insight of Pierre Bacon: the old oak beams that, at the time, following demolitions were often discarded and abandoned in rubbish tips, would be the precious raw material for the production of furniture and furnishings. Subsequently, with the arrival of two new shareholders, Arte del Rovere Antico expand to the extent of allowing the production of complete works of furniture, using the designs of an architect’s studio and to a design agreed with the client, without forgetting the artisan roots, particular attention in the choice of materials and the finishing touches done by hand. Today, Arte del Rovere Antico specialises in the recovery and restoration of floors and old larch and fir articles, used for mountain furniture that is respectful of traditions and the environmental context.
