Parco del Castello di Miradolo

The park surrounding the actual Neogothic-style building - which was built in 1866 on a pre-existing building of Counts Cacherano of Bricherasio - was built in the same period with landscape shapes. The sinuous contours, the tree clusters with a remarkable variety of textures, the colours and the shapes, as well as the presence of waterways and that of an old lake are indisputable signs of the romantic style of the park, which is arranged around an imposing central clearing. The park is crossed by an interesting system of well-watered channel and "bealere", which form a valuable environmental system with the surrounding agricultural landscape.
