Water is the protagonist at Crodo, where a long tradition in bottling mineral waters is witnessed by the Museo delle Acque Minerali “Carlo Brazzarotto”, which conserves over 100.000 digitalised, historic production plants, 9.000 different types of bottles and a vast consultation library. The museum was not only born as a memory deposit, but also as a means for communication and cultural production though varied activities (didactics, itinerant exhibitions, conferences, conventions). The exhibition provides the visitor with a journey though a century of history on the production of mineral waters, with the support of documents, technology, scientific and artistic testimony: the collections make this patrimony concentrated in one location unique, rare, unrepeatable and precious. It is also possible to observe two complete historic plants for the production of mineral waters, the filler and the corker for seltz water, a series of saturators, a rotating filler and a labelling machine all in the museum.
