The Ecomuseo del Freidano project places the historical evolution of the community of Settimo Torinese in close association with the characteristics and transformations of the territory, putting emphasis upon reciprocal and inevitable influences. Next to the ethnographic museum and the mill dedicated to material culture, various bicycle routes and well - equipped green areas have been created. The arrangement of the Ecomuseum, in fact, is proof of the eagerness to recreate atmospheres and work places that exalt the different characteristics of the items and cycles of elaboration. Therefore, this is not a traditional museum, but a place to experience through use of interactive systems.
