The complex comprises the round church, XII century, the Valperga chapel, 1446-1467, cloister and the priory, XIII century.
The Palaeontological and Archaeological Museums are located in the priory. The first museum stores a collection of fossil shells originating from Valle Andona and Valle Botto; the second exhibits a rich stock of Egyptian materials, pre-Roman metals, Greek, Magna Graecia and Etruscan ceramics, and numerous Roman relics.
