Canelli, a locality in the province of Asti, celebrates again this year the commemoration of the Assedio (Siege) , which took place in 1613. About a thousand people in costumes parade through the streets of the town for this historical event, which took place within the context of the wars for the succession of the Duchy of Monferrato.
