Messer Tulipano...tra orti e orchidee

The festival “Messer Tulipano” returns to Castello di Pralormo for an entire month. Since 2000, in the garden of the medieval Castello di Pralormo, in the heart of Piemonte, the extraordinary bloom of over 75,000 Dutch tulips and narcissi announces the arrival of spring: each edition of this botanical event hosts a new planting, completely renewed in the varieties and design-colour. The castle’s garden is of major historical and landscape interest, having been designed by the court architect Xavier Kurten, creator of the most important gardens of the Savoy residences.

Free shuttle bus from Torino: Sunday 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 April, Easter Monday, 9 April, Wednesday 25 April and Sunday 1 May. Departure from Torino Porta Susa station (10.00) and return from Pralormo (17.00). Booking on +39 011-8140981, while places last.

A shuttle bus service is also available from the car park set up near the Castello di Pralormo at the entrance to the castle garden, running from 10.00 until 19.00.
