From 09-09-2010 To 31-12-2010
Piazza Falletti, 1 - 12060 Barolo (Cn)

In a setting historically and architecturally important such as Castello Falletti, the installation was conceived, planned and created by Francois Confino, already the creator of museum settings of worldwide importance including the Museo nazionale del Cinema di Torino. The visit itinerary is a celebration of wine: a thrilling journey, never banal, between darkness and light, sounds and colours, reality and myth through the sounds and colours of the seasons, times of the day and year. Five floors open to the public for an itinerary that starts on high and then descends as far as the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, housed in the ancient cellars of the Castello since 1982.
A film that travels back to the creation of wine as the absolute star in art, literature, cinema, music, in the cuisine of the peasant tradition and the innovation of the great chefs. Wine related as a drink favoured by mankind and the effort involved in producing it.
The visit itinerary concludes in the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, where visitors can enjoy and appreciate the spectacle of the great labels of memorable vintages, find their own bottle and bring it home.
