March 1861: Torino became the first capital of Italy. March 2010: the countdown towards “Esperienza Italia” begins, the Torino festival for the 150th anniversary, which will get underway in March 2011. The countdown officially begins on Saturday March 20, with an exciting kermesse to create a large tricolour flag in piazza Castello, with all participants painting themselves in white, red and green to join together in the choreographies devised by Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani. And so, an entire afternoon of festivities in honour of Italy, with acrobats, jugglers and mime artists from Scuola di Circo FLIC and the Orchestra di Ritmi Moderni Arturo Piazza.
