Anne Frank e la Shoa
Anne Frank e la Shoa

The Diary of Anne Frank represents not simply an account, but the testimony of that collective tragedy that the Nazi period represented for many Jewish families: from this underlying theme is born the idea of the exhibition devised and produced by the Anne Frank Foundation in Amsterdam, and on display in the Museo Diffuso della Resistenza di Torino. Together with quotations from the pages of the young writer, a series of unpublished photos, documents and panels enable a similar number of main themes to be placed alongside the five phases of the life of Anne, highlighting themes such as political fanaticism and the search for a scapegoat, expurgations, attitudes towards the Jews and the Shoah. A section relating to the period following the Second World War, focusing attention on the activities of International Tribunals and the defence of human rights.
