If the image of the nocturnal swim of Anita Èkberg in the Trevi fountain is one of the most famous in all of cinema, the film “ La dolce vita” is not only a symbol of an era but also a crossover point from Fellini’s first neorealist films to the subsequent art films. Fellini’s masterpiece with Marcello Mastroianni in the leading role is 50 years old and the Museo nazionale del Cinema di Torino presents the exhibition “Gli anni della dolce vita”. fotografie di Marcello Geppetti e Arturo Zavattini” (The years of “La dolce vita”. photographs by Marcello Geppetti and Arturo Zavattini) at the Mole Antonelliana, from 19 January to 21 March: with over 160 large-size format images: 140 snapshots of the Roman dolce vita (good life) at the end of the ‘50s, in a capital invaded by stars and starlets, and 28 photographs taken during breaks on the set of the film.
