The impressive surroundings of Bene Vagienna, which is becoming ever more known as a true city of art, gives over its historically and artistically significant spaces to the Festival. The events do not take place solely in the Teatro Romano and the Cascina Ellena farmstead (partly built on the remains of the ancient amphitheatre). Additional sites include the former Capuchin church – tumbledown, charming, and once again a site of popular communion – and the recently restored palace courtyards of Palazzo Lucerna di Rorà and Palazzo Ravera. Thanks to this magnificent selection of venues, the 2012 edition of the Festival has a rich programme including eight shows.
