Gio' Pomodoro - Il percorso di uno scultore: 1954-2001

Various venues in the enchanting area of upper Monferrato host the exhibition "Gio' Pomodoro Il percorso di uno scultore: 1954-2001” (Gio’ Pomodoro – the path of a sculptor: 1954-2001) devoted to 173 works by the Marches artist. Stones, marbles, bronzes, polyesters, watercolors, paintings and intaglio works and jewelry are inserted into a veritable museum area where villas and palaces become, in the more than 4 months of the exhibit, a unique circuit in which to carry out one of the most comprehensive trips among the works of a great master of international sculpture. The route, starting from Alexandria, winds through the most charming and unique cities of the province: Acqui Terme, Novi Ligure, Valenza, Tortona and Casale Monferrato, representing a leisurely tourist-cultural trip for those who wish to combine art with the traditions of this territory.
