The park is located in Ovada town centre and it was realised in the first half of the twentieth century for the Genoa industrialist Gabrieli. The park surrounding the villa was designed in such a way that it did not allow to be seen from the outside. It is open to the public and it is enriched with architectonic elements such as a circular pavilion and a long pergola propped by stone columns. It is a typical example of romantic garden, where the vegetable heritage is arranged with knowledgeable attention to the naturalistic effect. Towards the first half of last century, it was enriched, according to the scientific spirit of botanical gardens, with numerous species coming from all over the world. The result is of extraordinary beauty and includes specimen of Atlas cedar, holm-oak, giant sequoia, bald cypress.
