Golf Club Margara

The Margara Golf Club, set well away from the chaos of the city in the countryside of Alessandria, is the ideal place for those wanting to escape the city cement and find a relaxing country atmosphere. Its 36 holes are set in hilly land but are not too tiring, and are perfect for golfers of every age and handicap. The course is not long, but is very technical and even ending up a few inches off the fairway can be a very serious problem. Accuracy is therefore more important than distance. The greens, although well-protected, are large, welcoming and well-maintained and are not a problem. For many years the Club has been the site of a European Open Challenge Tournament.

Facilities: Swimming pool, Restaurant with typical Monferrato regional cooking, 20-bed guest house subdivided into suites, Bar.
Season: February to December.
Closed: Mondays, unless a public holiday.
