Circolo Golf Torino - La Mandria
The Turin Golf Club was founded back in 1957 in the grounds of “La Mandria”, once the hunting estate of the House of Savoy and now a natural park. Within the club grounds there are two different 18-hole courses set in the ancient woods of the park and furrowed by natural streams that create many suggestive views. The course is well designed with fairways and well-protected greens.
In 1999 it was the venue of the Italian Open and for the occasion the course was modified, without changing its nature or historical characteristics, to make it more challenging and more modern and suitable for high level competition. In the special list of the best national golf courses compiled by a specialist Italian magazine, it has held the top spot for two years.
